An ordinary man makes an extraordinary discovery when a train accident leaves his fellow passengers dead — and him unscathed. The answer to this mystery could lie with the mysterious Elijah Price, a man who suffers from a disease that renders his bones as fragile as glass.

I want to watch glass so this was me starting the trilogy, it was actually better than expected. This was my second M. Night Shyamalan, but my first was The Last Airbender which doesn’t really count. I really liked some of the shots, especially at the start, there were some really interesting ones, most notably the shot of Bruce Willis on the train, he’s having a conversation with a lady next to him and the whole conversation is filmed from the gap on the chair in front, the camera moves showing each of their faces as only one could fit in frame through the gap and it’s all done in one shot. Little bits like that impressed me, also there was some great acting, kind of an interesting concept, kind of simple but I think the good cast makes it better. I really didn’t like the ending, it was terrible, I’m not talking about the twist, which was good even though it was a little obvious. You know when there’s a film based on a true story and before the credits they have writing telling you what happened in real life after the film ends, they did that, except it was a fiction film so it felt really weird, I feel like they should have ended it there which still wouldn’t have been a great ending, or they could have actually added another scene. It felt like they gave up when they got to the end and it was really annoying.
