This film had a bunch of unrealistic deaths that were almost comical, the ending was ok ish and there were random forced romances that were hard to keep up with, but it was still a very enjoyable film and I’d rather watch it again than play fortnite or warzone any day. Thanks to all the anime I’ve been watching recently the subtitles didn’t bother me like they usually do, and it was surprisingly easy to follow, which is difficult for a film like this as you lose track of who’s died and who’s still alive, though we do get random characters that pop up and confess their love for random girls who you can’t quite remember. I found it hard to care about any of the characters and most likely won’t be watching the second one because of the reviews but this was an enjoyable film that I can kind of see why is Quentin Tarantino’s favourite movie and though it is very different than hunger games as hunger games develops the characters a lot more, this is probably my favourite of the two just because the violence is more fun and it’s overall just better.
