Tokyo Revengers 2021

Tokyo revengers is amazing. I’ve read all the manga and watched the anime, now I’ve finally seen this film. One of the better anime adaptations I’ve seen in live action. Tokyo revengers is just such a cool story with great characters and it makes me so happy. Draken is awesome, mikey is the coolest anime character ever so they didn’t quite manage to get him as cool in this, I think I even liked draken more, but he was still great. Even tacamichi was a little less annoying in this than he is in the anime. Would love to see a second film. They made a couple of changes but they all worked really well and helped it fit into the story. Really just a cool film.  The fighting was a bit unrealistic (like it is in the anime but it works less in live action) and the film was a bit cheesy. But I think that’s to be expected from a Japanese live action adaptation. I enjoyed it and I would recommend to anyone who refuses to watch anime or loves Tokyo revengers like I do.  If u don’t like anime you can still watch this, old boy is based on a manga and it’s one of the best films ever made.  7.6/10
