I think I might have to rewatch this film coz I am utterly confused. I don’t know if I was confused because I was bored, or bored because I was confused, but this film didn’t make sense to me. It probably didn’t help that I turned it off half way and picked it back up again around a week later, but I will probably watch it again, most likely only if I get the chance to watch it on the big screen.  Benedict Cumberbatch is an incredible actor, in a way I think he kind of carried this film for me. I just rewatched Sherlock and I just wanna put out there that I didn’t dislike anything about his performance, he was great. Also I will forever have great respect for any actor that was in breaking bad so I liked Jesse Plemons, didn’t like the Spider-Man girl that much or her kid.  I think this film was a gay romance maybe, or maybe about jealousy. I’m pretty sure the characters were all really complex and interesting but I didn’t understand them so I don’t know whether I just watched a masterpiece of a complete shit show. For now though until I rewatch it, I’m gonna stand by the fact that I kinda hated it, I disliked the ending when I normally would like it. For now ima give it a low rating.  Just like nomadland the most boring film of the year will probably win best picture, they also both have a shot of the main character bathing naked in a random lake.  Also I forgot to mention that like nomadland this film is technically brilliant, excellent soundtrack (I like what they did with the comb) and brilliant cinematography. I think I was just not paying enough attention.  5.4/10
