My New Year’s resolution is the same as it is every year. Watch one film a day. Pretty impossible, doesn’t usually last long. This film doesn’t count as it’s till 2022 but ima start early to get into the habit. 1 film a day. This may be one of the creepiest films I’ve ever watched. Took me a while to watch it, just made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. The acting was really good, dialogue all so rebooting and it really added to the uncomfortability. The way the characters interacted with each other was so strange, my first Yorgos Lanthimos film, not scary just strange. Even the opening shot was kinda uncomfortable and I found myself feeling a little happy it was over.  i like films that can make me feel stuff, but I don’t know if I enjoyed what this film did to me. It was really good but I didn’t want to keep watching. Had 40 minutes left and didn’t come back to it for a couple of weeks. Soundtrack Also was quite good and added to the creepiness.  Love Colin Farrell, one of my favourite actors, like him at his best under the direction of Martin McDonagh as he’s hilarious but he is also quite good in serious roles like this. Barry Keoghan I also like quite a lot now. Saw him in The Banshees of Inisherin with Colin Farrell and I think he’s the new joker aswell, he was really good in this, very creepy.   “Dad, quick bobs dying”  Ending annoyed me a little 5.9/10
