This film looked amazing. The cinematography and colour grading was so well done, some of the shots outdoors looked incredible.
Really liked willem dafoe in this, his character is quite likeable and he’s a great actor, I didn’t realise he was in it so was happy when he showed up.
I really wonder how they do film like this staring young kids. Their acting feels so real that it’s like they just turned on the camera and let them just be themselves. Would be interested to know how closely the script was followed for all the scenes of Jancey and Mooney just talking.
The ending really got me. A film hasn’t made me cry like that in a while. The scene where Moonee is saying goodbye to Jancey was really good and very sad.
