I went to Maya Bay a couple days after watching this film and I would fight as hard as they did to protect it. It’s ironic that one of the most beautiful beaches in the world loses part of its beauty because you are there. Feels really weird the goal of the characters in this film were to stop people like me from going there and then I went there a couple of days later. Also the irony that this film is what made me and probably a lot more tourists so excited to visit.
The characters in this were really weird and it was probably one of my least favourite Danny Boyle films and Leonardo DiCaprio films. But Maya Bay was beautiful and it was still pretty entertaining.
