This film was way better than I expected, I was convinced this years Oscars would be a shit show but there’s some promising contenders here. I love Bo Burnham and he was great in this, and now I love Carey Mulligan coz she was great also. I fucking loved the ending, I was hoping they’d do something like that and they did, I loved it. The music is great throughout, I enjoyed the slowed down version of toxic, it really suited the film. There’s also so many actors I like with small roles in this film, Adam Brody from the O.C, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Schmidt from new girl, I mean they all played rapists but still was cool to see them all. Obviously the topic isn’t something I can relate to, it’s a very powerful message and very moving, portrayed in an interesting way, it might have had more of an effect on a woman who had been through that sort of thing though, guys are fucked up. I also quite liked the editing, I thought that was cool and the film just overall had a nice aesthetic to it. The twist when she gets the phone had me shocked for like half the film even though I could kinda see it coming, very nicely done and a very interesting film.  8.5/10
