What a film. Hugh Jackman's performance in this is outstanding. We also have Paul Dano who after the Batman I can now say he is one of my favourite actors, his character didn’t say much but Paul Dano is always a plus.
Roger Deakins on the cinematography. Legend.
Incredibly intense and emotional film. Jake Gyllenhaal played a very serious character who is kind of a pretty bad detective even tho I don’t think he was meant to come off as it.
Second watch of this film. Really love it. I’m not sure how I feel about the ending. Leaves a lot of unanswered questions as I wanna know what happens next, but stylistically it was pretty cool.
