I need to see some more shitty films so I can stop giving everything 4 stars. (7 four star reviews in a row)  This film was really good.  Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an amazing actor to be able to pull off a character so different from the characters he usually plays and make it so believable. hesher was a great character.  I feel like I could name quite a few films like this, the protagonist is going through something, then meets an interesting character who is very different from him and his friends. I feel like hesher pulls this off better than any other film I’ve seen like this. It was emotional, funny and entertaining.  Rain Wilson was in this too which is always a good thing. His character I feel could have been used better, but the ending was beautiful and his Character was wrapped up pretty well.  Natalie Portman was in this too and she was pretty good. Although I feel again it felt like it was missing some stuff. How and why her and hesher got together and what happened after. I feel like the film had a nice ending but it did leave quite a few plot points inconclusive.  Overall a good film with good acting, them pushing the coffin was beautiful. It was a little predictable at times but was a pretty cool film. 8.0/10
