Rewatching this as a little recap before I finally watch gladiator 2. I remembered it as being not that good and I can see why I thought that, though I definitely don’t agree with that anymore.
It’s very long and can be quite slow at times and is not the kind of film I would usually like, though it is one of the coolest revenge films ever and it includes some incredible acting. Joaquin Phoenix especially was incredible, I hated him so much he was amazing villain, definitely my favourite performance I’ve ever seen from him.
Anyway it’s gladiator it’s a classic and I usually don’t like reviewing these kind of films, just came to say I didn’t used to like it but now I do.
My last rating was a 7.4 which I remember as it was the one of the first films I ever rated.
