The darkest of all the fates yet pales in comparison to fate/zero and unlimited blade works. The first 2 movies were cool, it was setting up characters that hadn’t been expanded on in the other versions, but this was the final battle, and it was a little boring. I think if it was a series I would have liked it more.
This film probably had the coolest Kirei Kotomine moment from all the fate routes, which is pretty cool as he’s still my favourite fate zero character (just been used poorly in fate/ stay night)
The animation for the final fights were amazing. Overall tho the film was kinda mid. All the characters were more likeable in unlimited blade works. Even Sakura who is barely in it.
I’m glad it was so dark tho coz we gotta see that evil piece of shit Shinji get brutally murdered.
Ending was pretty cool tho.
