Ufotable are amazing. The animation in this is next level. The rain scene was beautiful. The berserker fight was not my favourite fight in anime or even in fate, but it was one of the best looking.
I said a lot in my last review of the first film, but this film was much better. It expanded nicely on a lot of the characters and relationships between characters. Like emiya and Elyia. Sakura and Rin. This film was also wayyyy darker than anything I’ve seen in Fate so far, and that was pretty cool. We even got a sex scene which I really didn’t expect. I still love UBW because of emiya and archer being wayyyy cooler than they are in this, but this route does have its pros. I guess if you like the dark and edgy stuff then this route might be your favourite, but for me I like all the blood and stuff coz I think it’s cool, and I did think this was cool, but I prefer all the fucked up shit when it’s mixed with comedy not just trying to creep us out as I get a little bored.
Still really interesting story and characters. It gave me end of Eva vibes.
Fuck Shinji man.
Also wanted to end this same way as the last review as Rin still best girl.
