Evangelion is like the breaking bad of anime’s for me. It’s not my favourite but I think it’s probably the best I’ve ever seen. This wasn’t any different, just so cool.  Currently typing this review on my phone on which I have an Evangelion case.  Not too much to say about this it’s just like the series but a little worse, there’s some new characters and I think it ends differently but I’m excited for the next one as I’m pretty sure it’s completely different and I’m even more excited for 3.0 + 1.0.  I definitely recommend this film, but recommend the series more as this is just one of the remake films, it’s basically the same as the show but the next two films have alternate endings, but I haven’t watched them yet.  Asuka is in this one which makes it slightly better and slightly more annoying than the first one. The ending is epic. Not much else to say it’s just (a remake of) a classic. 8.0/10
