There really isn’t much to say about this one, it’s just a Tarantino film, which is a good thing. He’s not my favourite director, but the man is a genius. Weirdly this felt like inglorious bastards but with slave owners instead of nazis.  The acting was incredible, really just amazing, Leonardo decaprio never disappoints, I genuinely think he’s one of the best actors ever, no other actors can make me think I should become an actor after seeing their preference. He just makes it look so fun and so cool. I’m not gonna become an actor as I don’t have the confidence for it, but I will definitely act in a few of my own films in the future (like Tarantino did in this film) partly because decaprio inspired me, but mostly because it’s too hard to find good actors that will work for free.  Jamie Foxx is also really good. The final scene (spoilers but it’s a Tarantino film so you can probably guess what happens) was so fun to watch, a big part of that was how cool his acting was, a lot of it was because of how satisfying it was to watch all the characters they’ve been making you hate for the last hour die.  Quinten Tarantinos directing style was super cool as always but also exactly the same as his other films. This film was fun to watch, it didn’t amaze me, I don’t think it was a great film that I’m gonna be recommending to all my friends, but it was definitely a good, really solid film. Definitely better than inglorious bastards.  8.6/10
