New fear unlocked: working in a restaurant When Stephen Graham was shouting I felt like I was in trouble. It felt like a real workplace, because of the one shot and the acting being pretty good, it felt so intimate and real, like I was really experiencing the most stressful day at work ever.  So many great moments with so many characters all done so well with the one shot. Honestly looks like the most stressful but most fun film set to be on and I have so much respect for everyone involved.  I don’t know how I feel about the ending, it felt like it was missing something. It felt kinda rushed and kinda abrupt. I was a little annoyed, just like, is that it. It was getting really good and then it just ended. I guess the way it was filmed would have made it hard to do anything else after but it felt like it ended in the middle of the film.  This was so stressful. So well made. The acting was great. The characters were great. The way it transitioned between characters and showed their experiences and back to the other characters so naturally. And because it was about regular people working and not about a war or a flying bird person, and the fact it genuinely just had like no cuts, it just felt like I was experiencing a regular day at work and it was amazing. The fact it involved food and there was so much going on at once, it must have been so hard to film but it paid off.  Honestly I loved this film, storywise it was limited by the one shot thing but I just love how it was made so much. The ending really didn’t sit well with me but other than that I loved it, I wanna see more films done like this. What a film. It always just feels like an experience to watch a film in one shot like this, it’s just like your actually following them around and your with them the whole time you see everything that’s going on, it makes you feel more connected to the characters and I love it. 1917 was such an experience to watch at the cinema and I kinda wish I saw this at the cinema also.  Made my job look like Disneyland. 8.3/10
