About Time 2013
Directed by Richard Curtis123 minDrama · Romance · Fantasy
The night after another unsatisfactory New Year's party, Tim's father reveals to him that the men in their family have the ability to travel through time. They can't change history, but they can change what happens and has happened in their own lives. Thus begins the start of a lesson in learning to appreciate life itself as it is, as it comes, and most importantly, the people living alongside us.

Was looking for a crappy Rom com to watch at 3am but instead got a touching story with a nice and surprisingly motivational message behind it.
I didn’t know what the concept was for this film and it was a nice surprise to find out what kind of film this was.
Weirdly I feel like this kinda effected me in a way. Though I have just wasted my entire day watching films and outnumbered, this film is about how every day is a gift, your gonna run out of days eventually, your not gonna be able to spend as much time with certain people as you would like, we shouldn’t wish we could relive our days and do stuff over, you should live every day like it’s your last chance to experience these new things. At a certain point in this film I got kinda sad that I didn’t have this power as I wished I could go back and relive some of my past days, but as the film went on I realised I should be living all my future days to their fullest so I won’t be wishing the same thing in 10 years time. Live every day like your doing it over.
I really liked Bill Nighy's character in this, he’s one of the coolest film dads ever. Definitely my favourite of his films. Also Rachel McAdams played the perfect girl perfectly.
Such a nice film and not at all what I expected. I really love films. I keep going into films and having a real connection with them, then feeling kinda empty after, as I search for another film to fill that emptyness. Then I find a film thinking it won’t have the same effect on me but then it all happens all over again.
I’m very tired now. Good film. It’s 3:35am, but if I could go back in time I’d probably watch a couple more films.
8.5/10
I used to think this and “me before you” were the same film and I’m really glad I watched the right one.
