Enjoyed this film a lot, maybe my favourite horror film I’ve seen this month. Still managed to keep up my streak of watching one horror film a day this month, though this kinda got me with a couple jump scares, it was more thrilling and had me on the edge of my seat. No film I’ve watched this month has made me that emotional, it was very sad, kind of added the the scariness, it wasn’t just pure horror, it was freaky as you liked the characters and you were scared for them, rather than just watching some unlikable protagonist get chased for 2 hours by someone in a mask.
I didn’t like the ending much, but I loved the ending for the Dad, I really liked all the characters and the concept was great, the silence made the film scary and made the jump scares really effective, it wasn’t too freaky but the fact she was pregnant and had to give birth without making any noise was kinda terrifying.
Really enjoyable film, can’t wait to watch the second one as I’ve heard it’s even better.
