Murderville is a fun idea, it’s a show that takes actors and celebrities such as Conan Obrian, Ken Jeong and Kumail Nanjiani, and puts them aside the hilarious Will arnet. It’s a murder mystery show with a catch, the celebrities don’t have a script, they have to deal with the absurdity of the show while by the end of it having to solve the mystery themselves. I didn’t love the show but It’s a really fun idea and will arnet is a great person to execute it.
This Christmas special film has the best cameo yet, Jason Bateman, who starred along side will in the popular sitcom arrested development. This was quiet funny, but I honestly think it might have been better if they had just stuck with Bateman rather than adding in Maya Rudolph half way in and Pete Davidson at the end for no reason. It created some funny moments, but took away from the overall story which isn’t massively important in something like this, but still somewhat important, adding in Pete Davidson at the end for no reason was funny but kinda ruined the ending for a joke and ab extra cameo as he wasn’t raking it seriously and I don’t blame him considering he had no idea what was going on.
Some funny moments, cool concept, but still has a lot of the flaws prominent in the tv show. Could be done better I think.
