This was ok. Jonah Hill plays a massive prick who’s character never really redeems himself in anyway. Miles teller was alright, even though that guy is kinda a dick in most of his films I quite like him.
This film did a weird thing where they quoted themselves every 20 minutes or so, idk why they did this but it was interesting, never really seen it before. I found myself tryna guess what could happen to lead them to say that and who’s gonna be there one to say it. I never wanna see it again in another film but I didn’t hate it in this.
This kinda felt like Wolf of Wall Street with the voiceovers about money and stuff. It even had Jonah Hill except he wasn’t giving a performance of a life time.
I didn’t love this film but it was ok, Todd Phillips is good at directing films like these, but it doesn’t come close to the hangover films.
Interesting story especially since it’s based on a true story.
I’ve already forgotten the characters names. It was somehow both better and worse than I expected.
