Vengeance 2022

Best podcast ever. BJ Novak’s first film. I really like that guy so had to watch this. That man wrote the 2nd episode of the office, which is often referred to by the cast and crew as the pilot after the pilot, the episode that really defined the US office. And his first feature film was good, he is clearly a very talented man. The film wasn’t all good, it was a cool concept, a guy who’s a bit of a dick gets called to Texas for a girl he used to hook up withs funeral. The whole family thinks he was her boyfriend and he uses this to his advantage by making a podcast about how they are all crazy, but starts to connect with them and realises they are really nice people, and so was the girl he never really gave a shit about before it was too late.  A fun watch, my favourite part was BJ Novak and his character’s character development, was done quite well, apart from when he switched on the whole family for no reason that was a little forced and unnecessary. But it was an intriguing plot and I really wish I could listen to that podcast.  I really wanna go and solve a crime and record the whole thing.  Also I really liked the ending tho it was a bit hard to believe, the character development was very interesting. 7.8/10
