I haven’t been this uncomfortable watching a film in a while which I didn’t expect. I did not see it going in this direction at all.
Dylan o’Brian is so great in this, in both of the roles he plays. One of the most shocking death scenes I’ve ever seen even though I knew it was coming.
Had to keep pausing because I was so uncomfortable, so this was a 2hr 30min watch for me. It did eventually get to the point where I wanted him to find out, as the other guy just got more and more insane. The toe scene was too much. He deserved every single one of those punches.
Honestly really good film. I’m a little thrown off because it kinda was what I was expecting, but completely different at the same time. I really liked what this film was for the first 20 minutes and I honestly think I would have preferred it if that was the film, but it went in a different, slightly weirder direction, yet was still a fascinating portrayal of grief and I really did like Dylan o’brians character, which was good because he was the main reason I watched this.
I’m surprised there were enough cases of what happened to him to run an in person support group. I would have thought it would be a more rare occurrence.
