Turbo, is it a masterpiece… probably not. Is it a perfect film? Absolutely. What makes a good film? is a technically good film that causes no enjoyment better than a poorly made film that causes lots of enjoyment. I of course know this film wasn’t very good, but this film wasn’t made for me, it was made for kids. When it came out I was a kid, so my review back when I was the target audience means more than now. Back then I loved this film, I thought it was a 10/10, therefore though I would never rate that film that Score now, what I think now doesn’t matter.  When I was a kid, I was unsure of my future. I didn’t think I was smart enough to go to college, I didn’t think that someone as dumb as me could ever go to college and work towards their dream, then 2013 came and I saw a little snail named theo, overcome his obstacles and achieve his dream, doing something no one would have ever thought possible. That moment changed my life, as I never thought I’m not good enough again, as turbo never hesitated.  I’ve kinda wanted to watch this for a while coz as a kid I loved it but I recently heard it wasn’t actually that good which was really disappointing to me. It’s the dumbest film ever and has a bunch of stereotypes but it actually is a nice film with a good message. Also this time round I can appreciate the voice acting more, Snoop Dogg, Samuel L. Jackson, Ryan Reynolds, Michael Peña, the cast was kinda stacked. One of the worst DreamWorks villains and dumbest DreamWorks films (obviously no matter how fast a snail was no one would let him compete in a race like the Indy 500) it’s still one of my top 10 maybe even 5 DreamWorks films.  7.3/10 May even watch this again to write a more in depth sober review on it coz I actually think this is a good film with a lot of stupid and bad things I’d love to rant about.
