Seen this twice now.  Ragnarok is my favourite mcu film and I think Taika Waititi is one of the coolest guys and best directors in the mcu. That guy is a genius and pretty hilarious. So I was pretty excited for this, I went in without watching any of the trailers and was just excited to see a genuinely good and funny film.  I don’t think this was as good as ragnarok, but it was a funny film with good character progression. They fixed the empty gap in the mcu that is Jane foster and had a top 5 mcu villain. Christian Bale was incredible, probably one of my favourite performances from any villain except maybe Jake Gyllenhaal.  The film itself wasn’t amazing, but it was pretty funny and there were some really great moments. The ending was really cool and we gotta see a new super powerful marvel character that I really don’t expect to show up in this. Jane foster was great, soundtrack super cool. Just a fun marvel film, but kinda simple. It is mostly just a comedy at this point but I am ok with that. Slightly more boring on the rewatch. Felt really weird, kind of messy and poorly structured. Given me kinda conflicting feelings about it.  8.3/10
