This was a nice film. The first hour or so felt kinda like a slice of life, it was really refreshing to see a couple going through a midlife marriage crisis. I watched it as Paul Rudd was my favourite character in knocked up and it was interesting to see how this expanded on their relationship given that they still delved pretty deep into it in knocked up.
I do feel though the film felt like it went on too long, as is the problem for most Judd Apatow films. The film felt like it could have ended way sooner, especially since a lot of their problems were just repeated problems that were already explored in knocked up. Having just watched that film it began to feel a little repetitive.
Though it went on too long it was still a nice film with good characters and I enjoyed it. It was Funny seeing Paul Rudd make a friends Reference. It did feel a little repetitive at times and I got a little sick of watching them fight, but I guess that’s kinda just a realistic depiction of marriage.
Both very likable characters and it was nice to see Jason segel.
Knocked up had a better story I think but and a better cast but this was more wholesome and realistic which was nice.
