So I’ve wrote a review for the last 74 films I’ve watched, but I’m not too sure how I feel about this one. I was pretty exited for it, I was really hoping to see it at the cinema but never really got a chance. I hoped I would like it as much as my friends did, I thought I would, but I didn’t. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great film, good cinematography, well written all that shit, I just don’t think I related to it too much. Obviously you can’t relate to every film you watch, but I dunno it just felt like I didn’t understand it fully. I didn’t like the main girl too much, I quite liked the second guy but you saw the ending. I didn’t really get the ending too much, I guess she finally found happiness in being herself or something like that.  I guess the film just felt really deep, like it was trying to move me but failed to do so and that’s why I feel a little disappointed. I get that it was a great film, I quite liked the voice over and I liked the stuff when she turned on the light and everyone froze, but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe it’s because I’ve watched like 5 films today and I’m very tired now. Or maybe it’s because I’ve never experienced the subject matter of the film. Just wasn’t for me and I’m not sure why but wanted to express my thoughts on the film even though I don’t really know them.  7.5/10 I think I’ve just watched too many films this month now my mind can’t process them fully.
