Another beautiful film, I love the cornetto trilogy so much, so cool to see Simon Pegg play Gary King, him and Nick Frost's roles reversed, with him being the outlandish one and Nick playing the more sensible characters. This is such a fun film, like Shaun of the Dead it all goes kinda crazy at the end where the worlds pretty much finished and all their friends die. I love the editing in Edgar Wright films, Paul Machliss is by far my favourite editor, I’m pretty sure he did baby driver and Scott pilgrim but I love the way films like this are edited. For example, the scene where he asks for a tap water and we get the beer being poured for all of them and then a water. It’s just soo good. A lot like a scene on Hot Fuzz I would talk bout but I’m rewatching that next. Great film but dumb ending lol. But I love the characters and the fact the world ends at the pub World's End which he’s aiming for the whole way through the film. Kinda funny also that they get more and more drunk through the film till they’re wasted at the end shouting nonsense at a bunch of aliens.  “Face it, we are the human race and we don’t like being told what to do”  “It’s pointless arguing with you”  8.8
