Desperate to save his sick daughter, working-class Ben Richards is convinced by The Running Man's charming but ruthless producer to enter the deadly competition game as a last resort. But Ben's defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite — and a threat to the entire system. As ratings skyrocket, so does the danger, and Ben must outwit not just the Hunters, but a nation addicted to watching him fall.

This was really cool. I’m not the biggest fan of Glen Powell, but he killed it in this role. Just the best kind of action film.
It’s been 8 years since we’ve had a decent Edgar Wright film, and this was a great comeback. Him and Michael Cera reunite for the first time since Scott Pilgrim, which is one of my favourite films of all time. I do miss his old style from Scott Pilgrim and the Cornetto Trilogy that feels absent here, but I think I preferred this to Baby Driver, which it feels a lot more similar to visually.
This was fun the whole way through, the cast were brilliant. Michael Cera and Glen Powell were excellent. Josh Brolin was a pretty great villain. Colman Domingo continues to deliver in every role I’ve seen him in since Sing Sing. There were also some nice surprises, seeing Angel from Dexter and Frank from Shameless. Also, I’ve never seen this guy act before but Daniel Ezra was pretty great in his little running man YouTube videos.
Great story, great action, great film to watch at the cinema. I would recommend seeing it!
