Pretty nice childlike twist on heist movies. Although when are kids films gonna stop using anamorphic animals isn’t it getting old now. It’s pretty simple and generic, though it has a decent cast and such a cool and unique style of animation. The backgrounds and and smoke and other effects looked so cool and cartoonish, something about it is so satisfying to watch.
I love Sam Rockwell and I love DreamWorks, I think it is just as good as Pixar so I was exited for this for a while, though I wasn’t gonna see it at the cinema as I’ve been traumatised by cleaning some of the messy bad guys screenings at work.
The British guy from it crowd plays the villain of this film, something about hearing his voice in animated films is weird to me, I think it’s coz he has too cool of a voice I can’t not picture his face and it takes me out of the animation.
Wholesome ending yet kinda depressing when you think about what would probably happen next. What would normally be an extremely forgettable film will leave a lasting impression on me due to the animation, but other than that nothing else too noteworthy about it, I’m sure most kids would love it.
