Recently I’ve been rewatching a couple of my favourite comedies with friends and it just makes them so much funnier. This was so fun to watch, I really do think it’s one of the best teen comedies ever made. I’ve watched a ton of films trying to copy the same simple format and none of them have ever reached this level.
So many funny lines
“You look like Aladdin”
“Prepare to be fucked by the long dick of the law”
“Have you ever looked into his eyes? It was like the first time I heard the Beatles.”
The main plot between Jonah hill and Michael Cera is great, kinda simple but entertaining. I’m about to leave for uni so it was cool watching it with my friend right before I go. If it was just them two it would be funny and entertaining but still just an ok film. But all the mclovin stuff is what makes it one of my favourite comedies.
Acting was all really good, Michael cera stars in my favourite film of all time, Scott pilgrim, and Jonah hill is kind in most stuff. Directed my favourite skateboarding film and was pretty good in the wolf of wallstreet. I like them both and this was one of their best films. Seth rogan and bill hader were also really funny with ….. Christopher mint- peze?
Definitely would recommend, my friend said he tried watching it before but got bored, I made him sit through it all this time and he said it’s the funniest film he’s ever watched. So if you want a good comedy that will probably make you laugh out loud or at least exhail through your nostrils, give this one a go.
