Taxi driver if it was directed by James gunn and was about Dwight K Schrute.
I love James gunn and I just finished the office so of course now I love Rain Wilson.
This was a really fun film, I loved the ending and I loved the main character. Elliot Page, though their character was a little weird and annoying, was good also.
I really love James gunns directing style, he’s obviously come a long way since this but his films are all just so fun to watch and pretty unique. It was an interesting take on a superhero film, tackling the question that I think is best represented in the film kick ass which is admittedly better than this, how comes no one has ever done what Batman did? Why can’t anyone just put on a suit and become a hero? It was interesting to see gunns take on this and again, Rain Wilson is just the best.
I liked some of the transitions to a yellow screen, was pretty cool and suited the film pretty well. I also found the bit where he gets his brain cut open by hentai tentacles to be quite funny as it got me to laugh out loud.
Overall I would really recommend this to anyone who is a fan of James gunn or Dwight from the office.
Also this film had both Linda Cardellini and Ellen Page which was really confusing for me as I can never tell those two apart.
