This was the only Star Wars film I hadn’t watched yet and I gotta see it on the big screen. Was quite an experience seeing for the first time at the cinema.  This film is so iconic I could quote half the lines even though I’ve never seen it before.  Maybe my favourite Star Wars film. It has the most interesting story character wise, seeing death vaders origin is actual quite emotional and a really great watch. Though there’s a couple of bits that I don’t like as much, like how palpatine is way too goofy. The main thing though is anikins turn was way too sudden, its built up really well where you can see what a hard decision it is for him and then suddenly 10 minutes later he’s just ok with killing a bunch of 8 year olds. He was a really interesting character and doing that made him way too irredeemable I think it was really stupid. The fact he was doing it all for padme would have been way more conflicting during the final fight if he hadn’t just murdered a bunch of kids.  Really great movie though I really enjoyed watching it at the cinema. A new hope is still my favourite tho.  8.4/10
