So it’s a couple of days later and I still haven’t gotten over how crazy the no way home trailer was, so I rewatched this.  As a Spider-Man film, I think homecoming was better, Peter and Ned were better in that film and it has iron man in it, but this film has certain characters that bring it up to the same level. Jake Gyllenhaal “can do no wrong” he plays a delusional psychopath who is weirdly likeable scarily well, he was perfect as mysterio, when I heard mysterio was going to be in this film I couldn’t have imagined him being done so well. The twist was obvious since mysterio is a villain but still amazing, the after credits are without a doubt the best after credits throughout the entire mcu, giving us JK Simmons AND giving us such a massive cliffhanger, I remember walking out the cinema in shock. Another great part about this film was zendaya as MJ. Watching the last film made the intro when suddenly Peter tells us he likes MJ seem kind of forced, since she was more of a minor character in the last film, but her and peters relationship was so cute and perfect for Tom Holland’s portrayal of Spider-Man.  I have never been this excited and can’t wait for the next one, I’m planning on doing an mcu binge soon but right now all I care about is Spider-Man. This was a great film, I like that the final battle was in London since that’s where I live. Also the VFX for the illusions was probably some of the best vfx we have had so far in the mcu, really good.  I love this one.  8.5/10
