Son of Rambow 2007

This was an alright little coming of age film about filmmaking, religion, family and friendship. It was enjoyable and it was cool to see a young will poulter.  Apparently Edgar Wright played one of the teachers in this but I didn’t spot him, however I did notice a very young Asa Butterfield and Paul Ritter.  I also made a film when I was that age but it was less crazy and inventive. Would have been so cool to go out and recreate these crazy stunts, doing it for fun and not having to worry about what people think of it or if it’s any good at all, it’s just kids having fun. Was a nice friendship movie and i really enjoy watching films about film making . Not really much else to it though. Didn’t think the main kid was that good of an actor.  6.9/10
