None of the character are likeable. Except Shane but he felt really out of place in the film. I actually really didn’t like most of the characters and I was constantly cringing from how annoying they were.
Half the dialogue at the start felt like gibberish but watching them make money was cool, but then it turned into a really annoying coming of age drama.
This was a big spoiler but at the start of the film I really liked Shane and I straight away just assumed he was gonna die. Felt like the whole point of his character was to make him really likeable and then kill him off. It was coming towards the end and I saw him speeding away and was convinced it was about to happen and it did. Still got me very sad tho even though it felt very forced.
Though predictable the death felt really out of place and it was clearly just for shock value. Also the fact all his problems at the end just got solved coz his friend suddenly died and everyone felt bad for him felt really lazy.
Haven’t been this harsh on a film in a while so do wanna say it’s an ok coming of age film and if u were thinking of watching it even though I just spoiled the ending don’t let me put you off. The story’s kinda nice I just didn’t like anyone in it mostly.
This wasn’t what I expected but for some reason I thought this was gonna be like The Social Network but for shake shack so yeah I was way off.
3.5/10
Edit, this was actually not too boring to watch and the final scene with his dad was really good so ima change my score
