Shaun of the Dead 2004
Directed by Edgar Wright99 minHorror · Comedy
Shaun lives a supremely uneventful life, which revolves around his girlfriend, his mother, and, above all, his local pub. This gentle routine is threatened when the dead return to life and make strenuous attempts to snack on ordinary Londoners.

Such a simple yet genius film, Almost makes me proud to be British, Edgar Wright is a brilliant film maker, like all of Edgar wrights films it’s beautifully edited. I will forever love the scene where he walks into the corner shop, missing the blood and zombies surrounding him. The scene where he is flicking through the channels and when they are planning out what they are going to do to stay safe. So many memorable scenes, so many beautiful moments. I love this film so much, the visual comedy is fantastic, one of the few films that has a cut or whip pan that can make me laugh, and how he makes the actions match the music perfectly in the “don’t stop me now” bar scene and the introduction with the kid doing kick ups to the beat. Such a funny, well made film, Edgar Wright is an amazing human being, along with the talented actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The greatest zombie movie of all time.
