This feels way to wholesome to be giving 3 and a half stars but here we go.  This was a great film. I had it highly anticipated as I love animations like these. I started watching it with my friend a while ago but realised very quickly that it was something I wanted to watch by myself in the middle of the night so we watched lemonade mouth instead. I finally got around to watching it and I was very exited as I heard it felt like bojack horseman which is one of my favourite shows and I do get the comparison.  Honestly though the lack of dialogue just made it hard for me to enjoy it too much. Nothing really happened. It was a cute story tho and I now have trust issues because why was everyone such a dick to dog and the robot and why can’t they just be together.  It was a very cute and sad film and usually a film like this without a single word would never make me as emotional as this got me. The ending was very sad.  The animation was great as well. It felt like the animation from a really good tv show but with really good quality.  I kinda feel a bit bummed that I never gotta see robot and dog see each other again but it was better this way. Just made the ending more impactful I guess. It was the right thing to do but … sad.  Anyway half way through I got a bit bored and fell asleep but I got back up and ended up finishing it at 5am. It could get a little boring. But overall it was cute and surprisingly entertaining considering very little was happening and nothing was being said. The music was nice.  I feel guilty rating it this low as it feels like a film made for me and I really did like it. Maybe it’ll change on rewatch.  7.4/10
