So after being recommended probably every P.T.A film multiple times, I finally watched one, and I’m glad I started with this one because I loved it. The music, the tracking shots, the acting, it was so good. People been saying recently that uncut gems was Adam sandlers best performance but I found this to be so much better, the awkwardness that he brought to the film made me feel awkward too, it was also so believable. That along with the loud music made this one of the most anxious film viewing experience of my life. A favourite scene for me would be when he’s getting all these questions from his sister while a girl watches and he gets these constant phone calls from the call girl threatening him, with the music so loud and fast that I felt like I was feeling exactly what the character was feeling and that’s an experience that doesn’t come for me too often. I would relate to the character completely, but his social anxiety is way worse than mine, it kind of gives me hope in a weird way. I love everything about Barry’s character, this film was honestly just great. 9.0  / 10
