This film was a little weird, at times it was really funny, at times it was really annoying. I think what let’s it down the most is the story, it was really bad, too simple and I feel like it was a direct copy from a bunch of other films that I didn’t even like that much. They were just 3 friends driving around London, tryna get into a party, having Superbad like friend troubles, and of course one of them was tryna get a girl. Genuinely I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a remake as I feel like I’ve watched this exact same plot before, but set in America with a festival not a club. What makes this film stand out though, is it’s characters, sometimes they were kinda annoying, mostly the main one, but mostly they were really funny, especially kid. I also liked it coz they were from London. It’s weird because I thought this film was really bad but also really good. The jokes were kinda funny and I liked some of the cinematography. It reminded me a little of Edgar Wright the way Yates involved the camera in the jokes using visual comedy. It wasn’t a great film but stylistic wise it was pretty cool and I’d like to see something like it done right.
