Nobody wasn’t the best film I’ve ever seen, it had a few problems in my opinion, wasn’t a fan of the boring antagonist and RZA (the guy on the radio that shows up at the end) could have not been in this film and it wouldn’t make a difference, so his character felt kinda forced, but after watching the bus scene and the car chase I can’t deny, this film is so fucking cool. I’ve never seen John wick so I can’t really make any comparisons to that, but I love breaking bad so of course I love Bob Odenkirk, it was really cool seeing him beat the shit out of people. The fight scenes were great, I expected him just to beat the shit out of everyone, which he does, but he also gets fucked up a lot while doing it, which kind of made it feel a bit more realistic. I liked the beginning with the fast cuts showing how repetitive his life is, at first I felt like I’d seen the exact thing a few times before in other films and I wasn’t really a fan, but they kept going back to these shots throughout the film, like when he misses the bins or a shot I really liked when the guy holds up the metro card in the hospital. Again this film wasn’t amazing and I probably wouldn’t rank it too highly but it was super fun to watch and I’d still recommend it to anyone who loves action films or Bob Odenkirk. Personally I’m not a fan of action films (which is why I haven’t seen John wick) , but all my usual problems I usually find with them just weren’t present in this film, (I didn’t find it repetitive and boring). Good watch, good acting, pretty simple story, some nice editing and cinematography and some pretty great one liners.
Although Christopher Lloyds fight scenes where kinda unrealistic it was awesome and kinda funny seeing doc brown in this film.
