So I’m not a big James Bond fan, I’m not really a fan of spy films at all really, or even action films, I find them all very boring. But I sat through all the Daniel Craig bond films so I could see this at the cinema. Most of them were kinda boring, but I also kinda had a good time. My favourite I guess would be Casino Royale, but I’d probably put this at number 2. I don’t really care about all the big action sequences and the fact that there’s a new Bond girl every film makes it kinda hard to care bout any of them, but bonds character development across the films was pretty interesting, and this, being Daniel Craig’s last bond film, was a really nice ending. I actually loved the ending of this film, the rest of it was a pretty average bond film. One of the main reasons I disliked Spectre was because it has one of the worst Bond girls out of all of them I’ve seen while watching these films. She was kinda annoying, I feel like I would have liked this film way more if it was someone like vesper instead of this French girl.  One of the main reasons I wanted to see this film before I started the rewatch was coz I was excited about Rami Malek as the Bond villain and I think it could have been great… but it wasn’t. Rami Malek was ok but his character was kinda shit, he was interesting ish but he wasn’t in the film too much and I really didn’t care about him at all when he was. I liked him in the first scene but he was pretty boring and kinda weird for the rest of the film.  Gonna talk about the ending now coz I liked it. So spoiler alert.  So I work at a cinema and when we went in to clean the room after the film had finished I heard a guy say.  “I can’t believe he fucking died at the end”  So yeah I knew it was coming and it made me sad through the film, ( thanks for that random guy), but some of my favourite films and shows end with the main character dying…. I can’t name any of them coz that’s instant spoilers, but I also make films sometimes and I always kill off the main characters. The ending was kinda perfect. I liked the shot from behind bond with the missiles coming towards him. And I love the whole reason that he stayed because of the poison. The only thing that annoyed me was the girl he did it for and the villain that forced him to do it. I feel like if this film had Spectre’s villains it could have been a bit better. Anyway that’s it, I watched 4 films just so I could watch this one, it wasn’t really worth it but I don’t really regret it.  7.7/10
