Saw at the cinema, not a good film but sometimes it’s nice to watch a bad film at the cinema. Not every joke made me laugh but some did, can’t remember the last time (if ever) I had to watch a scene at the cinema through my hands because I was cringing so hard, the second hand embarrassment on the part scene was awful.  I like Jennifer Lawrence, I can’t work out if I like her more or less after watching this but I think it’s one of them.  Jennifer Lawrence beats up a bunch of people while completely naked.  Story was a little weird, my boss said before I went in that this was the “worst film ever made” which I can understand, he used the whole “if it was about an older guy it would be bad” argument, but I think it’d be worse if they ended up together in the end. The films about a guy who’s never had a real friend and is scared of living due to being coddled by his parents, meeting someone who brings him out of his shell. Some of it was bad, predictable, unfunny and cringeworthy, but there were some kinda sweet, wholesome moments in there.  Still not the best film, but fun watching at the cinema and the core relationship between the two main characters was a little interesting, but that was the only thing I really liked about it.  Didn’t even realise Matthew Broderick plays the lasagne dad. can’t believe the dad in this is Ferris Bueller they look nothing alike.  Favourite scene was were the kid sings man eater, it sounded really good which makes sense since the actor comes from musical theatre and was in Dear Evan Hansen. Listening to it on repeat on YouTube now I need it in my Spotify playlist.  5.9/10
