Why watch John wick 4 for the action when a power rangers reunion just came out.  Yeah this was truly awful. I don’t know why I expected it to be good it is power rangers at the end of the day.  Since it won’t take too long, I’ll start by saying the things I liked about it. It was a nice tribute to the rangers actors who had sadly passed away and I really liked the ending where they were all singing together as it was a little emotional.  Everything else is a negative really. All I want, is for a reunion film like this to know its audience. I get that power rangers is for kids but everyone that cares these old people who are all terrible actors are back, are all also older now, imagine if they made a more mature power rangers reunion film that was really dark and made for adults, could have been incredible.  But yeah this was worse than actually power rangers, it felt like it was made during quarantine with only 3 or 4 actual characters who all felt stiff and uncomfortable. Even though it’s been a long time since the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the effects haven’t gotten any better and the editing was awful. There was a really nice tribute at one point to the yellow ranger that I laughed through because it was done with a really weird zoom on the characters eye that looked dreadful.  The yellow rangers daughter was one of the worst and cringiest actors I have ever seen. I know it’s power rangers and I shouldn’t expect it to be amazing, but I have rewatched power rangers recently and fuck it it is good shit I don’t care. This is not good and I don’t know why I expected it to be but I feel like it could have been so much better. 1.0/10
