Metal Lords 2022

This made me really wanna play drums I quite liked this, sure it’s cringy, generic and stereotypical at times, but each character had pretty good development. When Jaeden Martel started playing drums seriously his character became really cool, he also had a pretty wholesome relationship. The music was great and I really enjoyed it. I mean it wasn’t necessarily a great film, it had a lot wrong with it, the main guy was really unlikable until his forced character development at the end. Also a lot of it felt kinda unrealistic like his doctor being some rock musician guy who gave him a helpful speech.  But I enjoyed the story of two friends, their friendship was really interesting and that and the music I think made the film quite enjoyable for me. This isn’t for everyone and I’m sure many people won’t like it, but I love films about bands having been in a band myself and I thought this was really cool.  7.7/10
