Andrew Garfield is an amazing actor. The fact he can turn a film with annoying directing, editing and Jake Paul into something kinda watchable is pretty cool. But other than that this film is pretty shit. It had a cool start, the characters were kinda interesting and I thought it could be quite good but then they started doing YouTube and it turns out this is just another YouTube film that doesn’t understand YouTube at all. At the end it had a cool twist and got interesting again, it included a really nice monologue from Andrew, but then it ended. The main girl was a pretty boring character that I didn’t really give a shit about, Andrews character was cool until they turned him into a psychopath in a way that felt kinda forced.
My only pros for it are that it had an interesting start. Andrew Garfield is good. And it has a character could have been really interesting, but I don’t think they used him in the right way, they could have expanded on his character, his family, his past and the reason he ended up the way he did, but they didn’t and it was pretty disappointing.
This film was kinda forgettable, Andrew Garfield pushed it up to the point of kinda average rather than completely awful. But yeah it’s watchable but I didn’t really enjoy it to much.
Wouldn’t recommend.
