Love, Simon 2018

Directed by Greg Berlanti110 minComedy · Drama · Romance

Everyone deserves a great love story, but for 17-year-old Simon Spier, it's a little more complicated. He hasn't told his family or friends that he's gay, and he doesn't know the identity of the anonymous classmate that he's fallen for online.

3rd watch of this film, it’s a pretty emotional film with some good acting. Hannah baker is in it who I don’t like very much, Wally west is in it which is cool. Also the geeky guy who looks really familiar but I’m not sure what from. Maybe something Disney? (I googled it and I still have no clue, he’s in Veronica Mars, before I fall and a bunch of animated shit but he seems really familiar and it’s really annoying me)  Anyway it was an nice film to watch, I really don’t have too much to say about it, it was just nice. I think normally I’d expect a high school film like this to be really annoying but it kinda wasn’t, the social media and email stuff was kinda realistic and it had some likeable characters…. I guess…. Even Hannah was kinda likeable ish…. But it doesn’t mean I wanna start seeing her in everything (I think she’s supposed to play Morgan stark in the mcu).  Yeah it’s kinda just an easy film to watch, it’s not amazing but it’s definitely not bad, it’s enjoyable to watch every time.  I am starting to realise though a lot of films have the exact same structure, like I said in my last review.  main character tells lie, receives benefits from lie, lie is discovered, everyone hates him, character redeems him self and is forgiven, film ends. And it’s normally a high school film. It makes it kinda annoying and predictable. I don’t have to much to say but I’ve reviewed the last 21 films I’ve watched so yeah, sorry I made you read this.  ( and a lot more before that but I didn’t review almost famous as it was too good for me to find the words)  7.8/10 Someone recommend me some good coming of age, modern high school romance films? Like perks of being a wallflower, the first time, me earl and the dying girl. Anything like that really.
