Idiocracy 2006
Directed by Mike Judge85 minComedy · Science Fiction · Adventure · Thriller
To test its top-secret Human Hibernation Project, the Pentagon picks the most average European-Americans it can find - an Army private and a prostitute - and sends them to the year 2505 after a series of freak events. But when they arrive, they find a civilization so dumbed-down that they're the smartest people around.

Cool. Decent. Not too long, short, fun watch. It’s quite a funny concept, not too funny overall. Terry Crews was in it.
Pretty scary to think that might be where our world is headed, obviously very over exaggerated for the sake of comedy, but I think this is scarier than a meteor hitting the earth, Luke Wilson being the smartest person in the world.
Don’t understand how they still have so much advanced technology, like the microphone he was using, was that invented ages ago or is there someone smart enough to make a microphone, coz surely whoever made that microphone is smarter than Luke Wilson. Or the cars and the TVs, if they break, who fixes them? I wouldn’t be able to, so maybe I’m dumber than the people in this film.
Really liked Maya Rudolph in this film, she was my favourite character, I don’t always like her but she was funny in this.
Some of the jokes felt a bit too much, it’s kinda funny but it’s so over exaggerated that it loses some of the humour I think.
That fart movie looks like a pretty good experimental film. I would watch.
Feel like I got dumber watching this. But it wasn’t a bad film, concept was quite fun.
7.1/10
I just finished watching a show called Silicon Valley, which I just found out is also directed by Mike judge, who made this movie. Doesn’t really change my review I just thought it was cool coz I really liked the show.
