Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2007

Watched this at midnight w my brothers in the garden using a projector and a curtain for the screen.  I never really liked watching this film, I think mostly because I hate umbridge so much. But also, I love umbridge so much. The casting again is perfect, I’ve never hated a character as much as I’ve hated umbridge which just goes to show how much of an amazing job Imelda Staunton did in the role.  This was David Yates first Harry Potter film and he went on to direct the rest of the series including the fantastic beasts. It’s not amazing, in fact it’s probably one of the worst in the series and again the book is way better. But it does have a few good parts, I really enjoyed watching Dumbledores army, one of the reasons I like the films so much is because of all the actors. Also it was a nice follow up from the last film after he who must not be named returned and Cedric (spoiler and also watch Harry Potter wyd?) died. Acting was really good. This was also probably Michael gambons worst film in the series, but his fight with Voldemort was pretty cool at the end. The films also a bit too dark I guess, well prisoner of Azkaban was dark this feels more ….. dull. It has a few good montages I guess. But yeah overall one of the worst. 8.2/10
