Thanks to quarantine, if I was actually stuck in a time loop, I wouldn’t notice for a good like week or so.
I like how it picks off straight away after the last film, like it’s a part 2 rather than just a sequel. I’m also glad they didn’t just make this film the same as the last one but with Ryan, the beginning made me think that was going to be the case. Good sequel, though kinda unnecessary, but adds some nice moments like her saying goodbye to her mom. I hated in the first film whenever she spoke about her mom coz it felt forced, but her actually being a character in this film was nice. Also it made a lot more sense as they gave an explanation of why this was all happening, though it wasn’t very believable it’s more than we got last time. they made Ryan an ok character rather than just someone that bursts in every morning. To sum it up, not as good as the last film but added a few nice moments and ideas. The killer was pretty obvious, though I never liked him, it was a pretty shitty reveal. Kinda copied the last film with how they told us aswell. It felt like kinda a desperate attempt at recreating the first film but was way more chaotic, some of it worked and some of it didn’t. No need for a third. And why’s the teacher so desperate to instantly turn the machine off in that moment, it’s like he’s in on it and doesn’t want her to go back, the dean would have made a better killer.
“I think I just shit my pants”
Ending was meh
