Godzilla vs. Kong 2021

This was an awful movie, I wasted 2 hours of my life just to see like 2 cgi fights between King Kong and Godzilla. Every human character was truly awful and I hated them all (apart from Russell from Deadpool that kid was the only one with kind of funny lines). The human villains were so bad I don’t even wanna talk about them, tryna avoid spoilers but that scene with kong and the lady’s ship was really satisfying. Millie Bobby Brown was dreadful as always, not surprising after seeing Enola Holmes which I couldn’t even finish, she was just as annoying as she has been in everything I’ve seen of her, the only thing I liked her in was stranger things season one, but as soon as her character learns to talk it ruins the show. She was with that crazy podcast man who had like one funny line and a bunch more that were really unfunny, and even for that kind of funny line I didn’t even smile. Julian Dennison (Russell) was ok, he was kinda funny I guess. The Kong friend humans aren’t even worth mentioning, they were in the film, that’s kinda all, I think the guy kinda had some character development but I wasn’t paying enough attention to notice. The CGI fights were really cool but also kinda boring, I spaced out and stopped paying attention while they fought. Really just not my kind of film at all, but if you like crazy VFX and wanna see Kong kick some ass then sure give it a go, but if I have recommended this to you it’s because I really really don’t like you. Just found out this film was directed by the guy who did death note.... I dunno which is worse, probably death note since the anime is so good and the film is so bad. I don’t really care at all about Godzilla. 2.0/10
